ABOUT US

La Maison de Passage Edmonton

La Maison de Passage Edmonton is a non-profit organization founded in April 2023 and officially registered in January 2025. We are dedicated to supporting refugees, newcomers, and francophone immigrants transitioning to permanent housing by offering temporary shelter, integration assistance, and personalized support services. Our main goal is to ease the transition for our residents as they settle in Edmonton, helping them overcome challenges related to high housing costs, administrative barriers, and discrimination. We are currently in the process of acquiring a building that will accommodate up to 100 residents for a period of 3 to 12 months. This project represents a significant step towards our goal of providing not only temporary housing but also a space where residents can fully integrate into Canadian society here in Edmonton. We envision creating a safe and inclusive space that supports cultural exchange, community development, and practical assistance for refugees, newcomers, and francophone immigrants.
